EAS 100% Whey Protein Review

Using 26 grams of protein, EAS 100% Whey Protein is advertised as being an amazing new protein powder that will change the way you work out and the way your muscles grow.

I’m always excited to hear claims like this made about a protein powder. But before I leap to conclusions, let’s take a closer look at EAS 100% Whey Protein and see if it can deliver the same kind of quality, I’ve seen from Myotein — the #1 protein powder of the year.

The Formula of EAS 100% Whey Protein

EAS 100% Whey Protein has two types of protein in it: whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate. In terms of quality, whey protein isolate is one of the highest-quality, purest forms of protein available. However, I’m not sure that it’s the main type of protein EAS 100% Whey Protein uses. If you look at the label, whey protein isolate is listed as the fifth ingredient and whey protein concentrate is the first.

Supplement Facts

As far as nutrition facts go, EAS 100% Whey Protein stacks up similarly to other products. For example, Myotein has 146 calories, 1 gram of fat, 27 grams of cholesterol, 7 grams of carbs, 3 grams of sugar, and 26 grams of protein.

Here’s what EAS 100% Whey Protein has:

• 150 calories
• 2 grams of fat
• 80 grams of cholesterol
• 7 grams of carbs
• 2 grams of sugar
• 26 grams of protein

None of these numbers concern me too much, expect cholesterol. EAS 100% Whey Protein has a lot of cholesterol! Almost three times as much as Myotein.

EAS 100% Whey Protein comes in two flavors: vanilla and chocolate.

Suggested Use

Since 26 grams of protein is about 52% of your Daily Value, I recommend taking 2 servings of EAS 100% Whey Protein a day. Each serving is 2 scoops, so you’ll need 4 a day.

Because whey protein concentrate and isolate are fast-absorbing proteins, the best time to take EAS 100% Whey Protein is in the morning or right after your workout. This way, you’ll get all the energizing, nutritious benefits of protein at two times of the day when you need them the most. You could also use this product as a meal replacement, if you’re goal is to lose weight.

Is EAS 100% Whey Protein Safe?

EAS 100% Whey Protein doesn’t have any stimulants or harmful ingredients. In fact, other than the protein, the only ingredients it has are preservatives, flavors, and artificial colors. This actually concerns me because EAS 100% Whey Protein has 26 grams of protein in each 39 gram serving. Does this mean you’re getting 13 grams of preservatives, flavors, and artificial colors?

I would hope not. Myotein has 26 grams of protein in each 38 gram serving; but this 12 gram difference is made up mostly of three additional active ingredients; not filler ingredients.

If EAS 100% Whey Protein has so many fillers, it won’t be a high quality product and it will be more likely to cause upset stomach and bloating.

What Are the Ratings?

Surprisingly, EAS 100% Whey Protein has good ratings. On Bodybuilding.com, where it received more than 360 reviews, EAS 100% Whey Protein has a rating of 8.1 out of 10. This is a higher rating than average products usually receive, but it’s not higher than the ratings a top product like Myotein receives. One of the main reasons Myotein is the #1 protein powder is because of customer ratings.

Where to Buy EAS 100% Whey Protein

EAS 100% Whey Protein is very popular, so you can buy it in-stores or online. It comes in a 5 pound container (58 servings). You can’t buy it on the official website, but they direct you to a site where you can buy it. It’s listed here for $53.

Other sites like Bodybuilding.com and SupplementWarehouse.com sell EAS 100% Whey Protein too. The lowest prices for the 5 pound container offered on these sites are around $49 and $38, respectively.

Compared to other products I’ve seen, these prices for 5 pounds of protein powder are cheap! But so is the product. Myotein and Gold Standard Whey Protein–two of the highest quality products available–cost between $40 and $60 for a 2 pound container.

Final Thoughts

If you want a cheap protein powder, go with EAS 100% Whey Protein. It has a cheap formula and a cheap price. Many users really like it, but others say they wish they’d paid the extra money for a high-quality product. EAS 100% Whey Protein could be effective and it should be safe, but with so many fillers in the formula, it could also cause side effects.

If you want a high-quality product, which is guaranteed to improve your workouts and your muscle growth, I recommend Myotein. Not only does it have a high-quality, proven formula, Myotein also comes fully guaranteed for 90-days. You do have to pay more, but you may agree with other Myotein users that the extra cost is worth it.

Use EAS for years as meal replacement adding many fruits and vegetables to blender. Taste is great and mixes well with flax seeds and chia seeds.

Glad to hear it, Judy! Flax and chia seeds are great. I really like having them with a fruit shake too.

Eas whey protein is good but the advantedge protein powder is AWFUL! It’s gritty and has a weird vanilla flavor. It turn into a thick gloppy substance. I spent $20 dollars on something no one in my family will drink even when blended with fruit. Don’t waste your money on this new product.
