AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60

AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60GNC is one of the premier names in supplementation. Its brand has reputation that brings a lot of credibility to each product they sell.

That’s why we were eager to try out AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60, GNC’s new protein powder. As the name suggests AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 contains a whopping 60 grams of protein per serving.

Aside from that, it comes packed with essential muscle building amino acids like L-Arginine, L-Leucine, and Glutamine. Working together these ingredients will enable to you pack on slabs of lean muscle and trigger explosions of new found strength.

About AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60

AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 has the more protein per serving than any other product we’ve reviewed.

Its protein content is also rich in amino acids that help spark protein synthesis for added muscle growth. AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 also contains glutamine and arginine, two amino acids you don’t usually see in protein supplements.

Glutamine is an anabolic compound that helps fight against muscle breakdown. It ensures that you don’t lose more muscle than can be replaced during strenuous workouts. Arginine on the other hand can help the body naturally produce creatine. Creatine is universally recognized for its ability to enhance muscle strength.

Arginine is also thought to be able to increase your synthesis of nitric oxide, a vasodilator, but this research is inconclusive. However, be careful with your consumption of Arginine because there has been conclusive research to prove that too much Arginine will cause frequent urges to urinate.

So, unless you want to get your workout in by sprinting to the bathroom and back, it’s best to keep your consumption levels down.

Is AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Safe?

Though we said this product contains more protein than any other supplement we’ve seen, that isn’t necessarily a good thing. 60 grams of protein is 120% of your daily value of protein.

That means your body can’t even use that much protein in a day much less the hour you spend exercising. At a certain point, your body just can’t use more protein and the excess is flushed out with the rest of the waste. That means you’re paying for twice the amount of ingredients that will actually benefit you.

Conclusion

There is no disputing that AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 is going to help you gain muscle. However, there are plenty of other products out there that can do the same, products that cost less than $50 and have manageable servings of proteins the body won’t waste. We definitely recommend looking for a more cost effective supplement.

AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Customer Reviews

  1. I agree that the price tag (now around $65) is absurd. That said, I easily get 100g of protein naturally because I have a diet full of greek yogurt, turkey, salmon, muesli, eggs… you get the picture. I don’t need another 60 grams. I just need a quick 20-30 immediately post workout.

So I just use one scoop. That way I get 20g of protein (I’ve heard your body can’t really digest much more than 30 in one sitting) plus 9 grams if I mix it with a cup of milk. So 29 grams of protein per serving and it lasts me three months (at $22 a month). That’s really not bad.

  2. I have used AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 and i am not impressed with the results i got from this product. the good is that it is packed with protien. the BAD is it is to heavy and i felt BLOATED after use. My personal opinion is it is not worth the MONEY you can save about $28.00 and get a much better less heavier protien from MUSCLE TECH called NITRO TECH HARD CORE.

  3. If you want to pack on muscle and burn fat then you need to be taking in at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. So 60 grams isn’t even 30% of the average mans daily suggested intake. Come on give GNC a little credit, they wouldn’t make a product that can’t be absorbed.
